We visited Kopi cafe in Andersonville for brunch after a busy work weekend, I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed! As a group with a few vegetarians and vegans, we always look for delicious alternative spots, and Kopi did not disappoint. The eclectic experience began right away, with the option for outdoor dining, as well as the tea room up front for people watching. Inside, the dining room is absolutely adorable, with a cozy atmosphere and plenty of pastry options to choose from. What I loved most about Kopi, though, was the attention to detail and support of local vendors. The handmade products on display throughout the cafe were not only cute, but also a testament to the community spirit that makes Andersonville such a great neighborhood. Overall, I highly recommend Kopi cafe for anyone looking for a unique and delicious dining experience. Whether you're a vegetarian, vegan, or just looking for something new, you're sure to find something you love at this gem of a cafe.

Such a cozy spot for a nice warm and refreshing meal! You can sit on the floor which is great for the neurodivergents or those who just want to stretch. The tuna sandwich was so good and packed with healthy flavor. The chai was a good compliment too! Staff were so kind and helped us get great food and drink on a chilly day!

Delicious! Best Whoopie pie I have ever had. The best dirty chai I have ever had, and my wife had the Viennese coffee, which was also delicious. We went around 5:30pm and they close at 7pm, we left around 6:45pm and we never felt rushed which was nice. Enough space to get some work done. The service was also great. I will highly recommend.

came here a few weeks ago for a morning date and it was a nice atmosphere to be able to chat. it’s a comfy cafe with friendly staff, great drinks and good food. my coffee and my partners matcha were clearly made with love, they were delicious! they have a wide menu and i want to come back to try more !

A unique diner! It’s a new world once you enter the door. The sitting on the floor area in the front is such an cute idea, it also puts the people sitting there in the window somehow and I love that! Back of the diner is a full shop with handmade clothes, silver jewelry, scarves, imported souvenirs, incense, candles... I’m telling you it’s another world. I tried a cold brew coffee and a gluten free & vegan brownie they were both very quality. I will be coming back.

Love their carrot cake and vegan steak tacos! Great Mexican latte as well! Highly recommend this cafe!

Such a unique place! We stumbled upon here on a stroll through Andersonville. Seeing folks sitting on the ground up front caught our eye, and once we peeked in we couldn't resist getting a table for ourselves. The atmosphere is so cozy and laid-back, complete with a full shop in the back. It's that quintessential nostalgic, unpretentious cafe with wooden furniture, home baked goods and warm breakfast and lunch options (these kinds of places are all too hard to find these days!). Whoever wrote the menu gets a special shoutout for 1) all of the options and 2) their sense of humor (which was much appreciated and noticed). We walked out feeling full but like we made a healthy choice, which was much needed after a few days with no veggies in sight. Highly recommend the homemade kombucha! Next time we're back in Chicago we'll be back to try a dessert.
